More Great News

Yet another exciting anouncement has been made. Tom's sister Paula and her husband Warde are going to adopt a baby. It is not due until March or April. We are so excited to receive this great news.

Lily

We are so excited that Nancy and Brian are getting Lily tomorrow. She will make such a wonderful addition to the family, and we can't wait to meet her. We look forward to see what they write on their blog tomorrow: http://www.ourdesertlily.blogspot.com/

Petrified Forest

The Petrified Forest is always nice this time of year. The temperature was just right and the park was virtually empty and we had it to ourselves.

The Grand Canyon has to be one of the most beautiful places on Earth. We took a quick two day tour around the south rim and had a great time.

Arizona State Capitol

Warde took the family to the state capitol and showed us his office. He also took us around and showed us the hearing rooms and the floor. We had the pleasure to meet the speaker of the house and have a picture with him (above).













We also had our pictures taken on the floor as we pretended to be the speaker.

Trip to Phoenix

On our way to Arizona we stopped at Hoover Dam and the Venitian Hotel in Vegas.
